Mary Elenor Guthrie

Mary Elenor Guthrie, daughter of Clarence Edwin Smith and Nona Mae Meridith was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on July 13, 1958 and departed this life on October 9, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 25 days

She loved her dogs, always grooming and showing special love to them. Another joy of hers was playing "Be Jeweled" on her computer. She was a very good cook, loved baking and made wonderfully decorated cakes. Mary loved eating out Mexican food was her favorite with Chinese a close second. She loved reading her Daily Devotional book. She was a generous and giving person and volunteered at the Hope Center and Senior Citizens Center in Westville. Mary had worked at one time as a line inspector for Nike Corporation and a secretary for Texaco Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nona Mae

Mary leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Aaron Guthrie and wife Veronica of Hillsboro, Ore.; Abram Guthrie and wife, Victory of Westville, two grandchildren, Chasidy N. Guthrie and Patrick A. Guthrie both of Westville, and a sister, Joyce Atha and husband, Randy of Westville, as well as her brothers, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside Services were held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, with Bro. Jim Beavers and Dustin Denton officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville.
