Ricky Darrell Poindexter, 59, of Westville, OK died on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at his home after an extended illness. He was born to Gerald and Lavone Poindexter of Sallisaw, OK on March 9, 1956. He married Tonya Richards of Stilwell, OK on June 17, 1977. They had one son, Codey Jayde Poindexter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Poindexter.

Rick retired from the Oil Field in 1982 to build, own and operate I-40 Auto Auction and a Mobile Home Park in Muldrow, OK, I-65 Auto Auction in Muskogee, OK, the Family Dollar Store in Lincoln, AR, Crazy Rick's convenience store in West Siloam Springs, OK,, Arvest Bank and United Federal Credit Union in Van Buren, AR.

He was a member of the Faith Alive Church in West Siloam Springs. Rick is survived by his wife, Tonya Poindexter and one son, Codey Poindexter, both of the home in Westville, OK, his mother, Lavone Poindexter of the Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center, three brothers, one sister, numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services at 10am on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Ok with Bro. Elvin Still officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK
