Oscar Joe Sellers son of John Franklin and Fannie Louella (Unger) Sellers was born March 1, 1932 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 8, 2016 in Fayetteville, Ark., at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Joe enjoyed singing in church, hunting, fishing, dog trading but most of all enjoyed spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Fannie Sellers, brothers; John Everett Sellers and Arthur Lee Sellers, sister; Dorothy Alice Heustis, son; Charles "Chuck" Albert Sellers, grandsons; Jacob Ray Sellers, Colorado "Kooter" Wayne Brown and sons-in-law; Edgar Brown, Jim Cantrell and Tem Ketcher Jr.

Joe is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Gladys Marie "Farmer" Sellers, children; Billy Darwin Sellers and wife Karen, Denise Lavina Brown, Robert Ray Sellers, Susan Irene Kester and husband Eugene, Tina Marie Ketcher, Barbara Jo Cantrell, Melinda Kay Duncan and husband Toney, John Franklin Sellers and wife Kim, Buffalo Joe Sellers and wife Denise, Skyler Jarome Sellers and wife Destiny. 135 grand and great-grandchildren, brother Henry Sellers and wife Lorene, sister-in- law; Anna Mae Sellers, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Elm Grove Baptist Church, Stilwell, with Bro. Eugene Kester and Bro. Toney Duncan officiating.

Interment followed at Elm Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
