WILLIAM ARNOLD VAN FRANK

2 Oct 1982 - 20 Aug 1896

Mooreland – William Arnold Van Frank, 86, formerly of Mooreland area, died Saturday in Bailey Seton Hospital, Straton Island, New York.

Funeral will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Mooreland First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cal Hunter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery under direction of Billings Funeral Home.

Van Frank was born August 20, 1896, in Enid. He moved with his parents to a Homestead north of Mooreland and attended schools in that area. On August 31, 1918, he and Esther M. Sernadez were married in New York. She died in 1979.

Van Frank was owner of a ship salvage business at Straton Island.

Survivors include two daughters, Bessie Collins, Straton Island, New York, and Juanita Lynk, Lebanon, New Jersey; one brother, Leslie Van Frank, Mooreland; two grandchildren; and one great – grandchild.
