Idabelle Schnoebelen, 87 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Mooreland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward. Burial will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery.

Idabelle (Reese) Schnoebelen was born on November 23, 1932 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to James Nelson and Ruby Edith (Bond) Reese. Idabelle attended Curtis and Mooreland schools and graduated from Mooreland High School. She was united in marriage to Loren Scott Miller on October 21, 1951 in Mooreland, Oklahoma. They made their home on a farm six miles north of Mooreland. They were blessed with three children, Michael Scott, Taunya Gay, and Shawn Trey. Idabelle worked at Brophy Drug Store during her teenage years and she later was the Manager of Beauty Co store in Woodward.

She was united in marriage to Hugh L. Schnoebelen on March 4, 1976 at Boise City, Oklahoma. They made their home southwest of Mooreland.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mooreland. Idabelle enjoyed Calligraphy writing, working in her yard, cooking, baking pies and cakes, and growing flowers. She loved being with her family especially her sons and grandchildren.

Idabelle is survived by her sons, Michael Miller and wife Pam of Duncan, Shawn Miller and wife Kim of Woodward; grandchildren: Justin Miller and wife Melissa of Columbia Falls, Montana, Nelson Miller and wife Lyndsey of Duncan, Ean and Devon Morrison of Oklahoma City; six great-grandchildren: Maddison, Zane, Avery, Aiden, Asher, and Boston; brothers and sisters: Nathan Reese, Tommy Reese and wife Darla, Monte Reese and wife Treisa, Patsy Bixler, Delene Triplett; Hughs children, Peggy Strate, Nick Schnoebelen, Jane Gottschalk, Mary Ann Walters, Mark Schnoebelen, Mike Schnoebelen, and Stacy Arnold; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Loren Miller on August 8, 1973 and her husband Hugh Schnoebelen on April 26, 1998, her daughter Taunya Gay in 1969, brothers and sisters, Sandra, Samantha, Nadine, Lloyd, Jimmie, Milton, Ray, and Leona, and Hughs daughter Jodie.
