Adonis Dedric Peil

October 18, 1975 ~ February 9, 2020

Adonis D. Peil, 44 year old Tulsa resident and former Mooreland resident, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 in Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery.

Adonis Dedric Peil was born on October 18, 1975 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Steven Ralph and Helen Ruth (Wright) Peil. Adonis grew up in Mooreland and graduated from Mooreland High School. He was involved in all sports and received a football scholarship to play football at Tulsa University. Adonis studied Business and Accounting and received his Bachelor of Science from Tulsa University. After his graduation, Adonis worked for a Professional Landscape company and was an integral part of the company. He was in charge of several large jobs in the Tulsa area and people will enjoy his work for years to come.

He married Hayli Rodriguez Levitt and they were blessed with two sons: Jaylon (Jrod) and Cruz.

He then found his life partner, Nance (Sunshine) Hawkinson and he gained a bonus son, Cole.

Adonis enjoyed gardening, fishing, kayaking, anything outdoors and listening to his Uncle T.Z.’s music. He loved spending time with his family and friends and he will be missed by all. He was a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Anderson of Owasso; his partner, Nance of the home; sons: Jaylon Rodriguez, Cruz Peil, and Cole Hawkinson; brother, Thomas (Dusty) Peil of Owasso; aunt and uncle, T.Z. Wright and wife Vicki of Mooreland; uncle, Dallas Peil and wife Carol of Woodward; one nephew Hunter Peil; cousins: Uly Wright and wife Karen, Yancy Wright and wife Christina; aunts: Annette Nelson of Hollis, LeaAnn Gonser and husband Harold of Gage, Lavon Rippetoe and husband Rodney of Hollis; other cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph and Mary Peil, Tom and Grace Wright, his father Steven Ralph Peil, aunt Karen White, and grandmother-in-law, Millie (Nana) Baggett.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mooreland High School Athletic Department with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
