Patricia Jean Kinser was born in Waynoka, Oklahoma, on January 13, 1929, the first of three girls born to Roy and Bertha Kinser. She spent her early childhood years in several small Northwestern Oklahoma towns. In the 8th grade, she moved to Mooreland, where she remained throughout her high school years. She excelled in academics and had a starring role on the Girls Varsity Basketball Team, which went to state. She attended Oklahoma A&M University for several years; later she graduated with a Bachelors Degree In Education from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans. Her first career was that of mother and homemaker, playing a supporting role to her husband's successful role in the offshore oil exploration business. She later entered the career world as a kindergarten and first grade teacher.

It was in Mooreland that she met her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life, Robert Gene McGlamery. They married on June 5, 1949. Pat and Bob made their home in south Louisiana, living on the island of Grand Isle and in New Orleans. It is here where they reared their three children. They remained in New Orleans following retirement in 1986. Pat relocated to Houston to be closer to her children following the death of Bob and Hurricane Katrina.

Pat was a woman of great faith and wisdom. She was active in both the Methodist and Baptist Churches. During the years, she played various roles of Sunday school teacher, Womens Auxiliary leader, choir member, and volunteer missionary, among others. She was an avid reader, a very good bridge player, and especially enjoyed European travel and cruising. She enjoyed the company of others, and was an outstanding hostess to her many family and friends, where she excelled in the kitchen with her creative cooking. She will be remembered for her sharp mind, quick wit, and her generosity.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her three children, Cheryl Hunter, Richard McGlamery, and Cynthia Harper with spouse Robert; three granddaughters, Emily, Christin, and Patricia with spouse Derek; and four great-grandsons, Luca, Gianni, Hunter, and Levi. She is also survived by her younger sister and spouse, Eudeana and Robert North, and brother-in-law Mel Sharp. There is also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She dearly loved them all. Pat was predeceased by her husband, as well as her parents, her sister Jo Sharp, and son-in-law James Hunter.

Pat passed away at home surrounded by family on 30 September 2020 after a short but valiant fight with cancer. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, 10 October, 2020, at the United Methodist Church of Mooreland, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Mooreland Cemetery.

She will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew her.
