Joan Holloway, 81 year old Mooreland resident died Sunday, November 3, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery.

Delilah Joan Holloway was born on February 9, 1938 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the daughter of Leon W. and Gertrude (Callahan) Hampton. Joan was reared in Ulysses, Kansas where she attended school. She was united in marriage to Marvin Eugene "Gene" Holloway in Carlsbad, where the couple made their home. For a short time they live in Roseberg, Oregon before moving to Mooreland, Oklahoma. They were blessed with seven children. Joan could usually be found at home cooking something or making something for her children or their friends.

She loved her family and enjoyed seeing them smile. Joan also liked watching movies, animals of all kinds, gardening, sewing, and just being around people.

Joan is survived by her children, Billy Holloway and wife Natasha; Tracy Stine and husband John; Debbie Whiteman; Wendy Goff; Becky Henry; grandchildren, Tami Dawn Stangl; Vanessa Vanzee; Kylene Whiteman; Kyrstin White; Katie Sosanya; Spencer Holloway; Jonathan Goff; Joshua Goff; Sara Holloway; Micha Holloway; Cheyenne Walters; great-grandchildren; Morgan and Marcus Mouser; Autum and Wyatt Vanzee; Lola, Trace, and Kreede Sharpton; Cooper James White; Paisley Walters; Addilynn Walters; sister, Donna Sue Bailey; brother, Carl Hampton and wife Donna; nieces; nephews other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Willa Jean Scott; son, Mike Holloway; grandson, Kolby Bowers; siblings, Harold; Maurice; Betty; Bill; Allene; and Willa May.
