Helen Louise Ingraham Holloway

June 20, 1935 ~ October 12, 2022

Helen Holloway, 87 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Shattuck. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Mooreland Cemetery with Reverend Micah Welcher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Woodward on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Helen Louise (Ingraham) Holloway was born June 20, 1935 in Curtis, Oklahoma to Charles Fredrick and Jane (Million) Ingraham. Helen graduated from Mooreland High School with the class of 1954. On May 23, 1954, Helen was united in marriage to Cecil Holloway at the Christian Church in Mooreland, Oklahoma where she was a member. They were blessed with three children: Jimmy, Sherry and Sandra.

She worked at the Day Care in Mooreland for approximately 6 years. Helen then worked at the Mooreland School cafeteria until her retirement. She enjoyed her flowers and watching the grandchildren sporting events and stock shows.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Dewald and husband Dirk of Mooreland, Sandra Taylor and husband Jim of Cushing; daughter-in-law, Alissa Holloway of Mooreland; grandchildren: Travis Dewald and wife Monica, Brant Holloway, Tanner Dewald and wife Becca, Trey Dewald and wife Katy Jo, Jimmie Taylor, Dakota Holloway, Brayden Holloway, Adrianna Taylor; great-grandchildren: Layne Mayer, Peyton Mayer, Conner Dewald, Taelyn Dewald, Axtyn Dewald, Piper Dewald, Sawyer Dewald, Logyn Dewald, Tatum Dewald, and Savannah Dewald; sisters-in-law, Carol June Ingraham, Glenda Ingraham, Flossie Arthaud; brother-in-law, Dorman Bull; other relatives and many friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Charles Ingraham, her husband Cecil, son, Jimmy Holloway, six brothers, Jim Ingraham, Lewis Ingraham, Buck Ingraham, Curley Ingraham, Walt Ingraham, Bob Ingraham, five sisters, Verle Pedrotti, Dorothy Bull, Mildred Gardner, Venita Patton, and Neola Reed, her in-laws, Mary and Bud Holloway, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marion and Maebeth Holloway, Bill and Ruth Holloway, and Curly Arthaud.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Dementia Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
