Betty Lee (Mitch) Vanlandingham

Betty Vanlandingham, 90 year old Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ed Dowty officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Betty Lee (Mitch) Vanlandingham was born on March 10, 1931 in Fargo, Oklahoma to Floyd Lee and Vera (Crain) Mitch. She grew up on the family farm on Trunkline road and the Fargo blacktop. Betty graduated from Fargo High School. She was united in marriage and they were blessed with three children, Randy, Lora, and Brian.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Crockett Vanlandingham on September 1, 1981 in Clayton, New Mexico. They made their home in Woodward and have lived here since that time. Betty worked as a Manicurist, but her favorite time was volunteering as a Pink Lady at the hospital. She always looked forward to helping at the hospital.

She is survived by her husband Floyd Crockett Vanlandingham of the home; son, Randy Lahann and wife Sandy; daughter, Lora Carter and husband Rick; son, Brian Lahann and wife Paula; step-children, Ronnie VanLandingham and wife Reene; Mike VanLandingham and wife Fran; Freda Witt and husband Donnie; grandchildren: Kami Holt and husband David, Kendal Carter and wife Brandy, Paul Lehr and wife Hilary, Jill Madison and husband Tom, Steven Kimosh and wife Kylee, Ashley Filson; great-grandchildren: Klair, Maddie Jo, Davis, Kameron, Bryant, Addison, Eleanor, Cooper, and Charleigh; one sister Marlene Meier; nieces, Carla Crossman and husband Nick, Lana Lindhorst and husband Alan, Darinda Gerber and husband Dick; other relatives and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
