Justin Ryan Thompson

Justin Thompson, 42 year old Woodward resident, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harvey Wreath officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Justin Ryan Thompson was born on September 5, 1979 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Paul Anthony and Bobbie Marie (Scott) Thompson. Justin grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1999. Justin lived in Mooreland for a couple of years and lived in Tennessee for six months while his dad worked there, but he has lived in Woodward most of his life.

He worked as a Welder and Pipeliner. He loved his kids dearly, they were his whole world. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and boy scouts. He was a member of the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by one son, Aiden Thompson of Woodward; one daughter, Kristine Thompson of Woodward; his father, Paul Thompson and wife Tracy of Woodward; one brother, Michael Thompson and wife Lisha of Woodward; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Chelsea, Dylan, and Bryson; a close cousin, Micah Riggs; other relatives and many friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Thompson, paternal grandparents, William and Louise Thompson and maternal grandparents, Bob and Martha Scott.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mooreland Cub Scout Troop 262 with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
