Damron Brodie Price, 15 year old 9th grade student at Fargo High School, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Fargo High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Damron Brodie Price was born on June 23, 1999 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Justin Loren and Danni Gail Jones. Damron was raised in Woodward County at the same home he has always lived in. He attended grade school in Fargo and the 6th and 7th grade in Shattuck, before going back to the Fargo Public Schools where was currently a student.
Damron loved playing baseball, basketball, hunting, and fishing, but his passion was bull riding. He had just finished up the season at baseball and was just starting basketball season. Damron was also a great artist who loved to draw. He was a member of the OJHRA, the JRCA, and other rodeo associations.
He was a great kid that will be missed by his family, his classmates, his teachers and all that knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Danni Hixson and husband Scotty of the home; his father Justin Price and wife Melodie of Fargo; brothers and sister, Dusty Price of Woodward, Dallas Price of the home, Lane Ashpaugh of Fargo, Bailey Ashpaugh and her daughter Tinley Hayes of Fargo; maternal grandparents, Stephen and Kathy Jones of Fargo; maternal great-grandparents, Thaine and Anita Schickedanz of Fargo; maternal great-great-grandmother, Jackie Jones of Sharon, Kansas;great-great-grandmother, Mary Brown of Woodward; paternal grandparents, Loren and Carolyn Price of Galzier, Texas; grandfather, Bill Phillips of Arnett; Scotty’s parents, James McCurdy of Woodward and Robin Biffile of Woodward; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Cheryl Price, maternal great-great-grandfather, Marvin Brown, and an Uncle Jerrid Price.
