Terry Lynn Pierce

May 25, 1956 ~ March 3, 2019

Terry Pierce, 62 year old Enid resident, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 in Enid. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Steenbergen officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Terry Lynn Pierce was born on May 25, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Leslie Calvin and Velma Ruth (Benson) Pierce. Terry grew up in the Oklahoma City and Edmond area and graduated from Edmond High School. He attended Central State University in Edmond.

He helped his father build homes in the Edmond area and worked in the oilfield for his father and Uncle Frank at Frank’s Casing Crews in Woodward during summer breaks from college. Terry loved being a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity and he enjoyed playing golf, pool, softball, and helping others. Terry loved being with his friends and family, especially his nephew and niece.

He was a member of the Brookline Baptist Church.

Terry is survived by his brothers, Ron Pierce of Woodward, Jack Pierce and wife Pam of Woodward; his nephews and niece; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie, his mother Cokie, nephew Shane Pierce and one brother Dale Pierce.
