LESLIE "DIANE" BENSON MCANINCH

August 21, 1958 - November 30, 2017

Leslie “Diane” (Benson) McAninch, 59 year old Woodward resident, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Oklahoma City surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lee Oren Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Leslie Diane (Benson) McAninch was born August 21, 1958 to Leslie and Frances Benson. Her nickname was “Gi Gi” and she will be missed by all of her friends and family. Diane grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1976. She worked at several different jobs with her latest job being the Manager at Braums.

She was always telling everyone about Jesus. Her message on her phone was “Jesus is Coming Soon, Sooner than we think.” Diane lost her Daddy when she was seven years old. He always called her his “Little Miss America.”

Survivors include her mother Frances Benson; sister Angela Newell and husband Kenny; brother Michael Benson and wife Lana; nephews Derek Benson and wife Kelcey and daughter Addy, Adam Benson, Taylor Benson, Kyle Benson, and daughter Joree; nieces, Katy Benson, Tiffany Benson and son Keaton, daughter Khloe; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her Daddy, Leslie Benson, her brother, Lewis Benson and other loved ones.
