Funeral: 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 - Ft. Supply Gymnasium

Interment: Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 - Elmwood Cemetery

Kevin R. Hunter, 44 year old Ft. Supply resident, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at his home in Ft. Supply. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Ft. Supply Gymnasium with Gordon Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Kevin Ray Hunter was born on January 2, 1972 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Clifford Leon and Bonetta Mae (Gaston) Hunter. Kevin grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. He was united in marriage to Betty Gene Jones on February 2, 1996 at the Ft. Supply Baptist Church. They made their home in Chester before moving to Ft. Supply. Kevin worked at various different places including United, Western State, and Bobcat Pressure Control.

He was a member of the Ft. Supply Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, boating, watching OU and Dallas Cowboy Football and Thunder basketball. Kevin loved going to Colorado with his wife and watching cartoons with Toodles. He also loved driving a truck and tinkering in his shop with his son.

He is survived by his wife Betty Hunter of the home; one son, Zachary Hunter and his girlfriend Mariah Blackford; daughter, Debbie Jones; sister, Leslie (Hunter) Barnard and husband Brian and their two kids, Ana and Connor; one grandchild, Nolyn Rose Mae Grosvenor; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Bonetta Hunter, grandparents, Lacey and Clara Gaston, in-law, Bob and Alberta Jones, brother-in-law, Leroy Jones and grandfather Frank Allen Hunter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Dialysis research with the funeral home accepting the contributions on behalf of the family.
