July 22, 1957 ~ January 16, 23022

Rex Hickman, 64 year old Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Faith United Methodist Church with Reverend Scott Ware officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Rex Lynn Hickman was born on July 22, 1957 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Robert Ellie and Velma Colleen (Lloyd) Hickman. He lived in Fort Supply until 5 years old, moved to Salida, Colorado, then back to Oklahoma in the 8th grade and graduated from Woodward High School in 1975. Rex attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma and graduated with his Bachelors degree in Psychology, then attained his Master's degree in Business. His first few jobs included a gas station attendant, working for United Supermarket, and painting trucks and scales for UniBridge before working as a consultant in the oilfield. Rex was united in marriage to Honey Hall on September 27, 1997 in Canadian, Texas.

He enjoyed fishing, fast muscle cars, and spending time with his wife Honey, his family and all the grandkids. He liked his remote plane, drone and tinkering with things that didn't work and try to make them work. He especially enjoyed making sure the kids had a good time at the lake while on camping trips, grilling out, pulling pranks on people, and going on cruises in the Sling Shots. Rex was a 90%er, he would get things to that point, stop, and was teased about that by everyone that knew him.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and other aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Honey; daughters Neva Jo McCormick and husband Dustin; Chantelle Hickman-Ladd and husband Chase; Candie Wheeler and husband Charlie; Cayla Allen and husband Ed; Carrie Flewelling and husband Casey; brother Ronnie Hickman and wife Kelly; sister Vicki Morris and Dan Drake; grandchildren Jamie Wheeler, Ryan Wheeler, Patrick Wheeler, Quinton Johnson, Chevelle Clouser and husband Anthony, Miriam Allen, William Allen, Coby Flewelling, Riley Flewelling, Maisyn McCormick, and Aidan McCormick; great grandchildren Cassidy Clouser and Clara Clouser; and his spoiled corgi's: Bandit and Bella; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church in Woodward with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
