BEVERLY ANN 'BEV' GEDDES

13 Deec 1940 - 8 Jul 2009

The funeral for Beverly Ann "Bev" Geddes, 68, of Woodward, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, Woodward. The Rev. Jason Dirks will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery . Ar-rangements are by Nichols-Zwanziger Funeral Home, Woodward.

She was born Dec. 13, 1940, in Chardon, Ohio, to Earl C. and Vera Chadwick Piper and died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Woodward Regional Hospital. She married John Sargent in 1956 and later married Harold Edminster. On Dec. 17, 1981, she married James Geddes in Woodward.

She worked as a waitress and cake decorator.

Surviving are her husband, James, of the home; five daughters, Laverna Richards of New York, N.Y., Ronda Hollar of Ponca City, Connie Pollard of Nashva, N.H., Michelle Bowden of Munice, Ind., and Rachel Gonzalez of Waukomis ; three sons, Brad Sargent, of Virginia Beach, Va., Michael Edminster of Indiana and William Geddes of Mustang; one sister, Erma Beebe; one brother, Robert Piper; and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
