Alvin James Fowler, Jr. Jamey as he was known, was born on February 24, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas; he was the son of Alvin James, Sr. and Brenda June Foster Fowler. Jamey grew up in Woodward, attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School. Jamey worked at the O.A.R.C in recycling. He was devoted to his job and faithfully worked every day as long as he was able. Jamey never married, but did have several girlfriends throughout his life. He ultimately decided that he was a lot like his dad and liked to save his money, and not spend it on girlfriends.

Jamey enjoyed bowling, he had bowled since he was young. He bowled every Saturday with his mom and dad. He liked to sing on his karaoke machine with his favorite country singers especially George Strait. Jamey also participated in the Special Olympics for many years.

Jamey loved his family and friends, worked hard, enjoyed life, and never expected special treatment. He was a very independent man, and was determined to live life on his own terms. Jamey is now free from his earthly chains, and able to enjoy his Heavenly rewards in his new perfect body.

Jamey is survived by his parents, Jim and Brenda Fowler of Woodward; brother, Roylen Fowler and wife Tina; niece, Natasha Seward and husband Michael; great-nephew, Seeley Seward; great-niece, Swayer Seward; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Olive and Alvin Fowler; maternal grandparents, Bessie and Cecil Foster; several aunts, and uncles.
