James Marland Feese was born to Mary Elizabeth and Wyley Osborne "W.O." Feese in Woodward, Oklahoma on November 3, 1923. He graduated from Woodward High School. Jim married Reva Mae Valentine on May 17, 1947 in the First Presbyterian Church in Woodward. To this union two daughters were born, Nancy Anne and Colleen Kay.

James was baptized at the age of two in Woodward's First Presbyterian Church. Holding the honor of the most years of active membership, he contributed in the following ways: Deacon, Elder, choir member and Sunday School teacher. Jim served his country during World War II for 3 ? years in the Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. After basic training in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was assigned as an aircraft mechanic at Santa Marie, Azores. Following the war, Jim worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and retired after 35 years. He then worked for the City of Woodward, Parks Department for five years. James served his community in many ways. He helped create the Kids Inc. program and coached for Kids Inc. for 24 years. Jim was the charter president for the Woodward Rotary Club. He was also an announcer for football and baseball games and horse and car races.

He is survived by his wife Reva Mae Feese of the home; one daughter Nancy Anne Ryan of Yukon; one brother Dwight Ray Feese of Bartlesville; four grandchildren Travis Ryan, Scott Ryan, Patrick McClung and Matthew Russell; five great-grandchildren, Lane Ryan, Cailin McClung, Adelaide McClung, Bailee-Jo Ryan, and Campbell Ryan; other relatives and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Feese, his father, W.O. Feese, and step-mother Emma Feese, his sisters and brothers, Pauline Thomas, Bonita Rhinesmith, George Feese, R.T. Feese, Hubert Feese, Clyde Feese, Wyley Feese, Jack Feese, and his daughter Colleen Russell.

Jim loved his family, loved to smile, and loved to make others smile. He was a great man with a big heart who will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in memory of Jim with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
