Lynette Kim Love Eagon

July 15, 1955 - July 6, 2021

Lynette Eagon, 65-year-old Woodward resident, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday July 8, 2021 with Reverend Jason Dirks officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Lynette Kim Love Eagon was born on July 15, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Herschel Noland and Thelma "Jean" (Love) Eagon. Lynette lived in Lovington, New Mexico before she moved to Sharon, Oklahoma in 1956. She grew up in the Sharon area and graduated from Sharon-Mutual High School in 1973. On July 18, 1973 she married Gordon Lee White. The couple made their first home in Vici, Oklahoma. They were blessed with four children, Calvin Noland, Crystal Kim, Clint Eagon, and Creston Lee. Lynette and her family lived in Wheeler, Texas, Elk City, Oklahoma, and then back to Vici, Oklahoma in 1979, before settling in Sharon, Oklahoma in 1989.

Lynette worked as a waitress in many cafes before she opened her own cafe in Sharon. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, going to the mountains, card games, going on cruises, and going to the casino. Lynette was very proud of her four children and adored all eight of her grandchildren. She would always attend all of their events and activities. She loved Jesus and was looking forward to the day she met him in Heaven.

She is survived by her children, Calvin White and wife Robin of Woodward, Crystal DuPerron and husband Tyson of Woodward, Clint White and wife Lexi of Woodward, Creston White and wife Nikki of Sharon; grandchildren, Chase, Chalee, Clayton, Creed, Crey, Channing, Trinity, and Clyde; brothers, Douglas Eagon and wife Teresa of Oklahoma City, and Claydon Eagon of Oklahoma City; mother, Thelma "Jean" Eagon of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews, Chandra Roush and husband Rusty of Arapaho, Devan Twyman and husband Matt of Oklahoma City, Cayla Eagon of Colorado, and Meagon Eagon of Oklahoma City.

Lynette was preceded in death by her father, Herschel Eagon, grandparents, Homer and Lela Love and Homer and Elsie Eagon.
