Jeffrey Allen BakerJeffrey Baker, 55 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Jeffrey Allen Baker was born on November 19, 1958 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to Bobby Eugene and Alice Juanita (Pittman) Baker. Jeff spent his childhood in Harrodsburg, Kentucky and attended school there. Jeff worked various different jobs before moving his family to Woodward in the mid 1990's. Jeffrey worked as a Handyman and a Carpenter for many years. He was currently working fro IOS, formerly known as OTI.

Jeffrey was united in marriage to Tanya Dawn Byrd on June 4, 2009 at the Woodward County Courthouse. He enjoyed camping, fishing, Kentucky Basketball and football. He loved spending time with his wife, kids, his father-in-law, Jerry Byrd and mother-in-law, Luann Byrd and he loved riding a Harley-Davidson.

He is survived by his wife Tanya Baker of Woodward; children, Matthew Baker and Taylor Verhoeff of Woodward, Jeffery Weldon of Woodward, Audrey French of Wichita, Kansas, Sarah Baker and Willie Alexander of Woodward, Amber Baker of Woodward, Alyssa French of Wichita, Kansas, Asa French of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Robbie Eugene Baker of Burgin, Kentucky; two sisters, Debbie Ann Fairchild of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Janice Sims and husband Henry of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Whitley Welch, Makenzie Baker, David Cantu, Aaliyah Baker, Alexandria Baker, Kenyan Baker, Tripp Baker, Arabelle Baker, Dominic Weldon; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Allen Baker, father, Bobby Eugene Baker, and brother Joey Lee Baker.

Jeffrey was a very dedicated husband, father, son and grandfather and most of all a friend. He always knew how to bring a smile to your face.... he had the biggest heart known to man and he opened up his heart to give anyone help when needed without questions.
