Woodward, Okla. — Roberto Alvarez, 35 year old former Woodward resident, died Saturday, May 5, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 in the St. Peters Catholic Church with Reverend Scott Boeckman as Celebrant. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the St. Peters Catholic Church with Deacon Santiago Ontiveros presiding. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Roberto Alvarez was born on April 5, 1977 in Denver City, Texas to Jesus and Catalina Cisneros Alvarez. He was reared in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1996. Robert was united in marriage to Rosalie Rosales on March 22, 2012 in Miami Beach, Florida. They made their home in Mustang. He was the current owner of Aztec Consulting, LLC, an onsite oilfield consultant. He also did contract labor for Devon Energy.

Robert was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church. He loved his job, yard work, his boat, "La Mojarra," his jeep "Old Yeller," his mustang "Italian Stallion" and his man cave. He loved playing volleyball with his family, he always called his team the "Blackhawks." Robert loved many things, especially his four children, who were his world, boating, jeeping and camping with the whole family. Robert was a good businessman who was very loved by his family and friends and he will be missed by them very much.

He is survived by his wife Rosalia Rosales of Mustang; his parents, Jesus and Catalina Alvarez of Woodward; two sons, Roberto Dexter Alvarez, Rameses Xavier Alvarez; two daughters, Caren E. Alvarez, Osiana Capri Alvarez; one brother, Frank Alvarez and wife Lesha of Woodward; three sisters, Irma Escobedo and husband Jose Angel, Lupe Reyes and husband Freedi, Alicia Soto and husband Melo; numerous other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa Cresencio Cisneros; step-grandpa Mike Burgess and his grandpa Jose Alvarez.Remembrances may be shared online at www.billingsfuneralhomewoodward.com
