Terry Gonser, 73 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Vici. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward. Burial will follow in the Curtis Cemetery. Service will be broadcast on the funeral homes website.

Terry Marlene (McGolden) Gonser was born on May 6, 1947 in Canadian, Texas to Duane Alford and Marcella Euelane (Keller) McGolden. Terry grew up in Fresno, California before the family moved to Mooreland, Oklahoma. She graduated from Mooreland High School. She was united in marriage to Loren Ray Gonser on January 23, 1965 in Sharon, Oklahoma and they were blessed with two sons, Ray and Mark. They made their first home in Mooreland and later moved to Sharon before moving back to Mooreland. Terry worked as a waitress, was a grocery store owner, worked at Mutual of Omaha, and Woodward Regional Hospital.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mooreland. Terry was an avid reader, enjoyed yard work, puzzles, gaming online, board games, crossword and fishing. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and her pets. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and volunteered at the hospital for many years.

She is survived by her son, Ray Gonser and wife Cindy of Woodward; grandchildren: Kent Gonser and wife Rachel, Rachelle Sittner and husband Brady; great-grandchildren: Violet Gonser, Madeline Gonser, Silas Gonser, Nora Gonser, Layne Sittner, Trinity Sittner; one sister, Duana McGolden; other relatives and many friends.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loren Ray Gonser, son Mark Gonser and sister Chloreta Martin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WOOF Pet Rescue with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
