Waynoka Cemetery


Graveside Services for Michael Lynn Pfleider will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Waynoka Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Thure Tolson officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Michael Pfleider was born to Bud Pfleider and Janene (Dunnigan) West on August 15, 1959, in Alva, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully December 29, 2022, at the Fairview Fellowship Home.

Mike and Dannel (Zook) Pfleider were married August 26, 1980. They had two wonderful sons Clint and Kyle. Mike worked in the oilfield for several years before going to work for Bob Baker at Baker Manufacturing and then retired from BNSF after 20 years. Mike loved to hunt with his boys and his best bird dog, Hank, as well as fishing trips with his grandkids and favorite fishing partner, his sister, Toni.

Mike is survived by his wife Dannel and his sons Clint and Kyle. His pride and joys, grandkids Hunter, Adyson, and Alissa Pfleider. Mike is also survived by his sister Michelle (Travis) McMurphy, brother in-laws Dale (Mindy) Zook, John (Saundra) James, and Greg Bender; his uncle Dale Dunnigan and his sister Joni (Bill) Forman along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Mike will be met in at the gates in heaven by his father, stepmother Virgie Pfleider, mother and stepfather Leo West, sister Toni, and grandparents, Hugh and Gladys Pfleider and Raymond and Roberta Dunnigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home to Alva Goldbug High School Baseball or Fairview Fellowship Home (Dementia Unit).
