Esther Marie Hayes, 84, daughter Elizabeth (Elsen) and William Terwort, was born Nov. 12, 1918, ten miles north of Alva and passed away in the Alva Share Medical Center on Oct. 27, 2003.

Funeral mass services will be at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 30, at the Alva Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Shane Tharp, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Sacred Heart Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel of Alva is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Altar Society.
