We are saddened to inform the Congregation that on Monday, March 31, Hugh Whiteneck died at the home of his uncle in Oklahoma City ({sic} should read Woodward), where he was an honor student in his sophomore year. Dr. John and Lois left Tuesday for funeral services. There will be a memorial service at Bethel Church to be announced later.
All our prayers go with the family in this time of sadness. Bob Cameron, Moderator
The Memorial Service for Hugh Whiteneck will be held at Aline, OK at 2:00 Thursday, April 3, in the Pleasant Plains Church of the Brethren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contribution to the Bethel Memorial Fund.
