Alva – The funeral for Fern Alice Trekell Mitchell Icke, 74, will be at 2 PM Monday at the Marshall Funeral Chapel, Alva, with the Rev. Charles Ritchey of Huntington, Texas officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, near Dacoma, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

She was born November 20, 1921 to Harvey and Jessie Trekell and died on Thursday, August 1, 1996 at Lufkin, Texas.

She first married L. P. Mitchell who preceded her in death. She later married Rosco Icke, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter's, Mrs. Mitchell (Marcia) Ammons of Luskin, Texas; two sisters, Inez Ashburn of Taylor, Arizona, Susie Trekell of Alva; three brothers, Allen Trekell of Casa Grande, Arizona, Harvey Trekell, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Robert Trekell of Alva; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one infant daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
