Freedom Cemetery


Moore – The funeral for Candy Lynee Thrash, 36, will be at 10 AM Tuesday at the John Ireland Funeral Chapel, Moore, with the Rev. Jay McAlester officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 PM in the Freedom Cemetery, with pastor Ron Reiger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wharton Funeral Chapel.

She was born October 30, 1960, to Vernon and Juanita Thompson Bliss and died suddenly on Thursday, November 14, 1996, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She attended the Centerview rural grade school, the Freedom school system and graduated from Freedom high school in 1968. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and in 1989 she moved to Moore to work as a paralegal.

She was a member of the Freedom Christian Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mandyi Lynn and Courtney Lynn of the home; her mother, Vernon of Freedom; and three brothers, Con of Huntington Beach, California, Dale of Oklahoma City, Ron of Mustang.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Contributions may be made in her memory to her children's trust fund.
