Juanita Darr Beer, 68, Freedom

Funeral services will be held Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Freedom United Methodist Church. Reverend Charles R. Claycomb, pastor of the Woodland United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kan., will officiate. Interment follows in the Freedom Cemetery under the arrangement of Wharton Funeral Chapel.

Condolences may be made online at www.whartonfuneralchapel.com. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Freedom Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Beer was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Joyce Ann Darr and three brothers: Bill, Neal and Otis Jr. Juanita is survived by her husband Jack of the home, a daughter Becky Beer of Ruidoso, N.M.; three sons and their wives: Billy and Norma Jean of Liberal, Kan., Bobby of Ruidoso, N.M., and Bradley and Jeanne of Liberal, Kan.; eight grandchildren: Mandy and her husband Todd Tanking, Bobby Shawn, Megan, Cody, Shannon, Shawna, Rachelle and Ashley, and two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Cadance.

Other survivors include two sisters, Laveta Parker of Boise City, Okla., and Coleta Province and her husband Gene, three brothers and their wives: Arlo and Verlene of Alva, Lewis and Lana of Coldwater, Kan., and Jim of Alva; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
