The next six years of service for the United States were both adventurous and valuable preparation for his lifetime career. He paid his dues to his country and came home prepared for a lifetime career.

His working years included Automatic Power, a Division of Penwalt Corporation in Houston, Texas; Kay Electric and WR Grace of Woodward, Ok; and Western Farmers Electric of Mooreland.

In 1990 Lyle obtained Bear, a Labrador Retriever. This experience proved to be a lifetime hobby and led him to a wonderful pastime after his retirement in 2002 from Western Farmer’s Electric of Mooreland, OK.

After retirement he enjoyed nine wonderful years training hunting dogs and furthering his experiences in his lifetime hobbies, hunting and fishing, as well as making many friends wherever he went.

He lived these years dedicated to acquiring and training dogs and enjoying personal hunting adventures. Most of the people he met through these experiences became lifetime friends.
