Deceased: Richard M. VanBuskirk, Sr., 56, Woodward

Mr. VanBuskirk was preceded in death by his parents.

Richard is survived by his wife, Zola; a daughter and her husband, Debra and Steve Brunet of Wichita, Kan.;~ two sons and their wives, Richard Jr. and Rhonda of Alva, and David and Sheila of Grandview, Mo.; two adopted daughters, Sheila and her husband Scott Towery of Larned, Kan., and Kandie VanBuskirk of Electra, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Jessica and Jon VanBuskirk, Krystal and Matthew VanBuskirk, Cody Tranbarger, Cameron and Courtney Towery, Montana, Raini Dawn, Santana, and Sierra; two sisters and their husbands, Dalene and Ellis Raymer of Woodward, and Alice and Thurman Black of Kerrville, Texas; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Wharton Funeral Chapel in Alva with Gene Karn, Chaplain, Christian Motorcycle Association, officiating. Interment will be in the Avard Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
