Deceased: Leona Waunita Sims, 82, Waynoka

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jock Sims; one brother, Clifford Rawson and one granddaughter, Robin Rene Sims.

Leona is survived by five sons, Max Sims and his wife, Veneta, of Carmen, Gary Sims of Waynoka, Ron Seaman and his wife, Rita, of Alva, Keith Sims and his wife, Sylvia, of Amarillo, Texas, and Jack Sims and his wife, Patti, of Alva; one brother, Don Rawson of Alva; one sister, Leota Woods of Clovis, N.M.; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. April 17 at the Avard Cemetery with Rev. Sandy Sims officiating. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for heart research.
