Shirley Veley, daughter of Clara Gertrude (Moore) and Fred Veley, was born on November 19, 1949, in Enid, Oklahoma. She passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Shirley attended the Lawton Public School system in Lawton, Oklahoma, from which she graduated. She was an LPN from 1976 until she retired in 2008.

Shirley enjoyed being a youth leader at the First Presbyterian Church in Lawton, taking care of her family, sewing and cooking for her little "army."

Shirley is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna and Ernest Veley; her parents, Clara Gertrude (Moore) and Fred Veley; two sisters, Faylene Cline, and Paula Hickum; and one infant son, Clifford Alan Veley.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kylee Veley; granddaughter Peyton Veley; her sister Esther Dillman and brother-in-law Larry Dillman and their three children, Heather, Larry Jr. and Gary. She is also survived by Dean Cline, Jackie, Tina and Kathy.
