Funeral services will be Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel with Adam Jordan officiating. Interment will be at Alva Municipal Cemetery. Condolences may be made online at http://www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.

Lois Ann was born in Alva, on March 12, 1940, to Cara May (Wilson) and James Ivan Murry. She passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 18 days. She attended school in Alva, graduating with the class of 1958.

On May 23, 1957, she was married to Dale Melvin Clark in Alva. To their marriage, four daughters were born: Dala Ann, Terri Lynn, Tammy Jo, and Vonda Kay. Following their marriage, they lived in Alva. In 1959, they moved to Okmulgee, later to Oklahoma City, then to Seiling. In 1976, they moved back home to Alva.

Lois was a very skilled seamstress sewing wedding gowns and special occasion clothing for her countless clients. She also made clothing and did alterations for a boutique in Alva. Lois was very creative and loved to crochet, make jewelry, and enjoyed all types of arts and crafts. These hobbies were very handy during the many years she served as a Girl Scout leader with her daughter and granddaughters. They also played a big part in her job in the activities department at Beadles Nursing Home, where she worked for 15 years until her retirement.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale, two daughters, Dala Ann and Tammy Jo Clark, two grandsons, Joshua Kern and Luke Hendricks, and a brother, Phillip Murry.

She is survived by two daughters, Terri Lynn Hendricks and Vonda Kay Knabe, and her husband Kenneth, eight grandchildren: Gabe Kern and wife Nicole, Lalonie Kern, Nick Hendricks and wife Brandi, Shadow Hendricks, Kayla Gilchrist and husband Jesse, Kendal, Kristopher, and Kasha Knabe, eleven great-grandchildren, Madison, Grayson, and Brooklynn Kern, Jayden Hendricks, Andrew Hosey, Klarc, Kanon, and Deaken Gilchrist, Joslynn Werve, Lily and Koralynn Knabe, a sister, Nancy Shafer and husband Raymond, a brother, Gary Murry and wife Donnetta, a sister-in-law, Sandra Murry, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Beadles Nursing Home activity a fund through Wharton Funeral Chapel.
