Dolores Ann (Kamphaus) Greteman

Dolores Greteman was born June 6, 1934 in Burns Flat, Oklahoma to Frances and George Kamphaus. She passed away December 11, 2014 at Canute, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 5 days.

Dolores grew up her family's farms in the Foss and Canute areas. She attended school at St. Francis Catholic Church and was later married to Edward Sylvester Greteman at St. Francis on January 3, 1950. After their marriage, she worked along side Edward for 62 years farming wheat, alfalfa, cotton, watermelons and raising cattle until his death on August 2, 2012. Dolores remained on the family farm and enjoyed all wildlife, her flowers and gardening, but her greatest joy in life was her family and visiting with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 great granddaughter, 1 brothers, Eddie Kamphaus and 3 sister, Agnes Shones, Katherine Spitz, Bernadine Toelle.

She is survived by her 6 children, Lanette Redd and husband, James, Elk City, OK, Lana Lewallen and husband, Johnny, Elk City, OK, Gail Snowder and husband, Ronny, Canute, OK, Jacquie Loudon, Portland, TX, Debbie Elliott and husband, Bobby, Canute, OK and Mandell Greteman and wife, LaQuitta, Foss, OK; 17 grandchildern, Amy Edler and husband, Matt, J.L. Gibbins and wife, Erin, Casey Green and husband, Jon, Lisa Hunt and husband, Brian, Jeff Lewallen and wife, Lena, Lori Woodson and husband, Josh, Ronda Mendez and husband, Steve, and Randall Snowder and wife, Elissa, and Ryan Snowder and wife, Christy, Chad Loudon and wife, Rebecca, Robin Brosnaham and husband, John, Rachel Castillo and husband, Vince, Chris Loudon and Priscilla, and Wesley Elliott and wife, Cimoni, and Quenton Elliott and wife, Angie, Mandell Greteman, Jr. and wife, Stephanie and Bernard Greteman and wife, Marcia; 41 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ragine Shones and husband, Raphael, Canute, OK and Lorene Grossman, Elk City, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Prayer vigil services will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Whinery-Savage Chapel officiated by Deacon Bill Hough. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2:30 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clinton, OK officiated by her great great nephew, Father Simeon. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
