SMITH-GALLO FUNERAL HOME
GUTHRIE, LOGAN CO, OK
(permission granted)

Molly Anna Burnett Harris Cheatham, 78, was born on Mothers’ Day, May 13, 1934 to Delpha and Fred Burnett in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. Molly went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2012.

Molly graduated from Lone Wolf High School, was in the truest sense, an Oklahoma farm girl and avid fan of OSU. Molly was an accomplished seamstress, sewing for family, friends and her granddaughters’ Barbie dolls. One year Molly made the uniforms for the OSU cheer squad. Molly had a vivacious spirit, warm heart and a beautiful smile for everyone. Molly never went anywhere without a positive attitude and her enthusiasm was contagious. Molly was beloved by all and we will miss her dearly.

Molly’s parents, infant brother, Johnny Burnett and son, Ronnie Harris precede her in death.

Molly is survived by her husband, Clyde Cheatham of Crescent, her brothers Freddy Burnett of Lone Wolf and Bill Burnett of Allen, Texas; her children Harvey Harris (Suzanne), Stephanie West (Jack), Paul Harris (Kristin); step-daughters Pam Goodman (Danny) and Kathy Kachelmeyer (Michael), 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special “Thank you” to Simona Mize, a wonderful friend and caregiver to both Molly and Clyde. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at First Christian Church, Guthrie, OK.

Interment services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Retrop Cemetery in Retrop, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Visitation will be Monday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
