Alma Dona (Smith) Pulis

Alma Dona Smith Pulis, born November 8, 1924 in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Herschel and Bertha Brown Smith went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 2, 2001, reaching the age of 76 years, 10 months and 24 days.

She moved with her family to the Ghost mound area where she attended school at Eakly.

Alma was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. She dearly loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, C. J. Pulis and wife Doris of Florence, Montana; one daughter, Patsy Huffhines and husband Gene of Yukon, Oklahoma; one sister, Ila Dilalo of Illinois; five grandchildren, Julie, Chris, Darren, Anne and Steven; six great grandchildren, Misty, Shonna, Ricky, Casteil, Mira and Lyric; two great grandchildren, Donovan and Hadyn; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Guy Willard Pulis; four brothers, Bill, Calvin, Claude and John; infant twins and three sisters, Irene, Iva and Eva.

Alma was a member of Church Covenant Fellowship.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2001, at the Yanda and Son Chapel, Yukon, Oklahoma with graveside services at 3:30 p.m., at High Point Cemetery, five miles north of Colony, Oklahoma.

Services were conducted by Yanda and Son Funeral Home, Yukon, Oklahoma.
