James M. "Jim" Tucker, age 99 and a resident of Ramona, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at his home.

James Monroe Tucker was born in Ramona, Oklahoma on October 25, 1918. He was the son of Hillard Monroe Tucker and Nellie Lola (Adams) Tucker. He received his education in Ramona. Jim had lived almost his whole life in the Ramona/Ochelata areas. He was a carpenter by trade, retiring in 1980. He married Dolly Dealtha Stiles and they had two sons and one daughter. Mrs. Tucker preceded Jim in death on December 17, 2004. Jim was a member of the Ramona Masonic Lodge, No. 326; initiated 1948, passed 1951; Master Mason 1951, Worshipful Master 1957, 1961, 1976, 1995; perpetual member 1999; recipient of Grand Lodge "Mr. Mason" 2000; 50-year member 2001; supervised construction of new lodge building 1965; member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1957;supervised building and one of the founders of the Ochelata Sportsman Club (1947).

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Dolly; brothers, Henry Tucker, Frank Tucker and Bill Tucker; and sisters, Theta Gallamore, Catherine Raley and Alberta Purcell.

Survivors include son, Jimmie Hillard Tucker of Bartlesville; daughter, Dealtha Jean (Tucker) Swafford of Claremore, Oklahoma; son, Carroll Stiles Tucker of Ramona; grandson, Dwayne Tucker of Manford, Oklahoma, granddaughters, Jamie (Tucker) Gann of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Deaundra (Swafford) Knapp of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Melody (Tucker) Summer of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; grandson, J. R. Swafford of Chelsea, Oklahoma; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Come and go visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave.

Services for Mr. Tucker will be held on Tuesday, August 21, at 11:00 AM in the Friends Church, Ramona, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow the service in Ramona Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Clarence Lambert. Services are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Visit www.honoringmemories.com to leave online condolences.
