Jess Everett Workman
April 7, 1970 - February 12, 2022

Jess Everett Workman, 51, of Ramona, died February 12th in Ramona.

Jess was born the son of George and Veronica (Sabolek) Workman on April 8, 1970, in Bellflower, CA. In 1980, the family moved to Ramona where he was raised and received his education, graduating from Ramona High School in 1989. He went on to further his education at welding school, a job Jess enjoyed and was gifted at. Most of his welding career was on contract jobs large and small, near and far.

Jess was also gifted in mechanical repair - but when he wasn't sure how to fix something he would ask his dad, George (Ford Motor Company; Retired), for advice. He thought very highly of him. Recently Jess reconnected with a high school friend on Facebook, Michele Jordan, and the pair quickly realized life was better with each other. They enjoyed spending time together, mostly staying home and watching their favorite TV shows.

Jess liked to keep busy - when he wasn't working, he was probably helping his brother with the construction of the new house his nephew is in the process of building. Other weekends would find him playing video games with his favorite (and only) big brother and nephew Kris and begging his sister Charlotte to fix his favorite 7-layer dip at his brother Daniel's house. While Jess had a mischievous side and loved to play practical jokes on friends and family, he also had a kind heart and helped others whenever he saw a need. His passing has left a huge void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Jess is survived by his parents George and Veronica (Sabolek) Workman, brother Daniel Workman, sister-in-law Charlotte Workman, girlfriend Michele Jordan, nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, at the Ramona Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory - Walker Brown Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
