Nancy Ann Tennant, 67, of Nowata, Washington County, Oklahoma, died on February 6, 2020 at the family home.

Nancy was born on July 25, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jack Young and Marian (Brown) Young. She graduated from Wagoner High School and received her degree from the University of Oklahoma, “Boomer!” She married Raymond Wren Tennant on September 14, 1974, celebrating 46 years of marriage. Nancy was an x-ray technician at Jane Phillips Medical Center and assisted in the launching of the mobile mammography unit. She enjoyed photography, antiquing, collecting dishes, raising children and grandchildren, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Tennant was preceded in death by her father, Jack Young, her mother, Marian Richardson, Stepfather Oscar Williams and sister, Brenda Young.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Raymond, daughter Tonya Tennant, Bartlesville, son, Jonathan Tennant and wife, Cheryl, Bartlesville, daughter Andrea Tennant, Oglesby, granddaughter Cierra, and grandsons Tommy, Draven and Isaac, and all of those who knew and loved her as “Ma”.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 10 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 2 p.m. at the Oglesby Cemetery by Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
