Leon Elvin Owens, 85, of Bartlesville, died on June 16, 2020.

He was born on April 7, 1935 to parents Elvin Cecil Owens and Dora Ethel (Hawkins) Owens
He attended Steels Camp School and graduated from Ramona High School. He married Naomi Jean Cranor on April 24, 1964 and together they had two children, Laurie and Phillip. He worked in many grocery stores in Bartlesville and Dewey including Landers, Rays and Reasors. Leon was a member of and a Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist church in Nowata, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Daniel Billbe and brother in law John Deen.

Leon is survived by his wife Naomi Jean Owens, sisters, Evelyn Billbe, Della Ann Deen, and Dortha Mae Hudson, daughter Laurie Bennett and her husband Alvin, son Phillip Owens, and his wife Alana, grandchildren Eden Wilder, Justin Wilder, Zoe Curry, Isaiah Curry, Cody Owens, Tarin Dickson and Aliyah Frost, great-grandchildren Abel Johnson, Isaiah Johnson and Ryder Owens.
