Pauline (Polly) Hough, wife of Albert Hough, died peacefully at home on March 7, 2018. She was 88.

Born July 25, 1929 at home in El Reno, Oklahoma, Pauline was the first child of William Clyde and Lela Tinsley Ellis. The family moved to Hominy, OK when she was a child and she attended Mound Valley School. Pauline graduated high school at 17 and went to work at Phillips Petroleum Co. as a secretary.
On January 24, 1948, she and Albert Hough were united in marriage at the home of the preacher of the Assembly of God Church in Bartlesville, OK. She and Albert celebrated 70 years of marriage in January of 2018. Albert was in the home building business and Pauline became realtor/owner of Hough Real Estate from 1968 – 1995. After retiring Albert and Pauline did extensive traveling, deciding to spend their winters in Harlingen, Texas where they had many friends. They returned full time to their home in Bartlesville several years ago to be near family.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lela Ellis, her brother Clyde Dene Ellis, who died in infancy, and her daughter Judy Kay Hough Reed Brewster.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Hough, of the home, sons Dough Hough and girlfriend Mary Dills of Bartlesville, Dan Hough and wife Patty of Nowata, 7 grandchildren, Brandon Hough and wife Rachel of Bartlesville, Duke Reed and wife Holly of Franklin, TN, Corey Hough and wife Joey of Dewey, Sabrina Willig and husband Chance of Dewey, Bo Reed and girlfriend Lilli Dale of Tulsa, Cody Hough and wife Kimmy of Bartlesville, and Cooper Hough of Bartlesville and by 10 Great grandchildren, Michael Hough and fiancé Shunta Allen, Kody Hough, Emalee and Anna Hough, Charlie and Davy Reed, Hank and Griffin Hough, Lane and Kali Kay Willig.

Friends who wish may call for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home until 8 P.M. on Friday.

Services will be held 11 am, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the East Bartlesville Christian Church at 3221 Tuxedo Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Oglesby Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to Comforting Hands Hospice, 1366 S.E. Washington Blvd., Suite A, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.
