Linda K. Vaughan went home to be with Jesus Friday, September 2, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Ochelata Cemetery with Chaplain Steven Griffith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Linda Kaye Vaughan was born December 11, 1948 in Bartlesville to Albert and Margene (Stainbrook) Towns. She married Roy Vaughan on October 30, 1965 in Eldon, MO. Linda was a homemaker who spent all her time and energy into creating a warm, loving and inviting home for her family and friends. Music was a part of her. She sang and played the piano and organ both at church and home. She loved Jesus and her family very much and never hesitated in showing it. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and nana. Her bright smile and limitless love will be missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Sherry K. Dougherty and son-in-law, John Dougherty. She was blessed with grandchildren, Tiffany & Jake Schepers, David & Tabitha Dougherty and great grandchildren, Clayton Dougherty and Jonathan Dougherty. One brother, Dr. Robert Towns and wife Vivian, niece, Cathy Grady and husband, Michael and nephew, Rob Towns and wife Mary Jo, and many friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
