Patricia Elizabeth Straley
September 12, 1955 - February 20, 2026

Patricia Elizabeth (Williams) Straley, 70, of Ochelata, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2026, in Bartlesville.

Born on September 12, 1955, in Bartlesville to Amos L. Williams and Laura Belle (Walker) Williams, Patricia grew up with a love for family, animals, and the simple joys of country life. She graduated from Ramona High School in 1973, but her greatest education came from a life rooted in faith, hard work, and deep devotion to those she loved.

On June 22, 1973, she married her soulmate, Bobby (Bob) G. Straley. For more than 52 beautiful years, they shared a love story built on laughter, adventure, and unwavering partnership. If a motorcycle or vehicle was missing from the driveway, it simply meant they were out enjoying life together - riding back roads, boating, fishing, camping, or heading off on their next adventure. Together, they traveled to over 30 states and two countries, collecting memories that will live on in the hearts of their family.

Patricia had a servant's heart. Her early years included waitressing at her brother Jim's restaurant, working as a convenience store clerk, and babysitting. In the 1980s and 1990s, she devoted herself to caring for others at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. As a CNA in Home Health Care and Geriatrics, then later as a Unit Secretary and Diagnostic Imaging Transporter/Records Clerk, she treated patients with dignity, compassion, and kindness. After leaving JPMC, she worked at the Ochelata convenience store while pouring her energy into what she treasured most - caring for her grandchildren. Retirement never truly slowed her down; she simply redirected her love into family, church, and community. Over the years, she also enjoyed sharing products through Tupperware, Mary Kay, and Herbalife, always excited to bring something helpful to friends and loved ones.

Patricia was a longtime, faithful member of First Baptist Church Ochelata. Teaching Sunday School to Pre-K and Kindergarten children brought tremendous joy to her. She never showed up empty-handed - snacks in tow - ready to teach little ones their Bible verses and remind them how much they were loved. Her gentle spirit and warm smile made every child feel special. She also served in the Prayer Blanket Ministry, lifting others up with care and prayer.

Throughout her life, Patricia gave generously of her time. She was active in the Christian Motorcyclist Association, Bartlesville Women's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Bartlesville Genealogical Society, Oklahoma Home & Community Education, and the Caney Valley Senior Center of Ochelata. Wherever she served, she formed lasting friendships and left a mark of kindness. A lifelong animal lover, Patricia's always had pets in her home. As a young girl on the farm, she adored her horse Prince and her pony Lightning. Later, after moving to Ochelata in the mid-1990s, she welcomed another horse, Baby Doll, into her life. Throughout her life she cared for many cats and dogs - her cats being particular favorites, though her dog Blitz was a close second. She loved and cared for many animals over the years, each one part of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos L. Williams and Laura Belle (Walker) Williams, and her brother, James D. Williams.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Bob Straley; her four children: Jason Straley of Bartlesville; Stephanie Brockman and husband Gary of Ochelata; Kevin Straley and wife Jessica of Dewey; and Devin Straley and wife Amaya of Ramona. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren - James, Corbin, Makenna, Micah, Nevaeh, Ruth Ann, Michael, and Amos - and her precious great-grandchild, Caspian. She is also survived by her brother Steve Williams; her sister Connie Skidmore; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be held at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on Friday, February 27, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Ochelata on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Ochelata Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the FBCO Children's Ministry - a beautiful way to honor her lifelong love for teaching children about Jesus. Patr

icia will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her adventurous spirit, her nurturing heart, and the fierce love she had for her family. She lived fully, loved deeply, and served faithfully. Though her presence will be profoundly missed, her legacy lives on in every life she touched.
