Elizabeth Angline Estes (Walker), 93, passed away in the comfort of her home Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Elizabeth was born in Hogshooter, Oklahoma on January 25, 1926 to parents James Walker and Hazel Mae Sears. Elizabeth continued school into the 8th grade in Fishcreek, OK; after she attended Eastern State Sewing School in Miami, OK. When completed she went to work at Overall Factory in Miami, OK where she met her husband Alfred Clarance Estes, they later married in September of 1942. The couple decided to move to Bartlesville, OK where she started to work as a clerk at Kress Department Store and eventually becoming the store manager until they went out of business in 1974. Elizabeth then managed the fabric store that moved to the Kress building until it had closed. Upon retirement she worked in the Walmart fabric department. Elizabeth lived in Ochelata from 1956-2017 and Meridian from 2017-2019. She was active with Home Extensions Clubs and quilting at the Methodist Church in Ochelata. Over the years she received numerous grand champions, and fourth place to first place ribbons for her sewing and crocheting; Elizabeth was a lifelong seamstress. She enjoyed fishing, playing the harmonica, but most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Leonard Charles Estes; grandson. Samuel Lee Payne Jr. and great grandson, Aaron Charles Estes. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Nathan James Walker; sisters, Agnes Laura Belle Williams, Dorothy Valeta Watters, Mattie Mae Ebel, Dena Faye Jones and Jospehine Beatrice Medina;

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ann Estes Payne; brother, John Walker; sister, Zinna Pankratz; grandchildren, Lisa L Estes Meeker, Leonard C Estes Jr. and Tice G Morgan; great grandchildren, Ashlea Benedict, Jarrod Estes, Kayla Elizabeth Payne Morgan, Jesse Osgood, Justin Osgood and Sara Osgood; great-great grandchildren, Triston Benedict, Tanner Benedict, Aston Estes, Lillian Estes, Aiden Estes, Justice Osgood and a host of friends.
