Leonard Edward Askew, 78, of Ochelata, Oklahoma, died on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Leonard was born on July 28, 1942 in Wister, Oklahoma to parents Troy John Askew and Lillian Martindale Askew. He graduated from College High School in 1960 and went on to serve in the United States Army. When his daughters were teenagers, he loved being involved with their softball teams. In 2006, Leonard retired from Reda Pump / Schlumberger after a long career.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Lillian Askew, brother John Askew, sisters: Janice Allen and Stella Lewis.

He is survived by his daughters: Kelly Garrett and Christy Askew, granddaughters: Ashley and Abby, great grandchildren: Madison and Mason and his sister, Margaret Steitler.

A service will be held on Thursday, September 24, at 2:00 pm at the Ochelata Cemetery.
