Doris Ann (Gelwick) Wight, 80, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, July 16th, 2025.

Doris Ann (Gelwick) Wight was born July 26th, 1944, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Clarence and Grace (Luke) Gelwick. She attended Lincoln Elementary, Central Junior High, and graduated from Bartlesville College High school in 1962. Doris and Jerry Wight were married in Bartlesville, Oklahoma March 1963.

Doris held a variety of jobs over the years, including working at Safeway (Now Homeland across from Sal's Donuts), Phillips 66 gas station and retired from Phillip's Petroleum.

She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Dewey, OK.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Grace (Luke) Gelwick; her three sisters Norma McBride, Reva Marchant, and Ruth Smith; and granddaughter April Wight.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her brothers John Gelwick and wife Colene of Wichita, KS, and Duane Gelwick of Dewey, OK; sister Jane Call of Bartlesville OK; sons Dave Wight of Bartlesville, OK, Kevin Wight and wife Kelly of Bartlesville, OK, and Jody Wight and wife Robin of Bartlesville, OK; grandson Ian and wife Joyanna of Bartlesville, OK; granddaughters Chelsea Brannan of Bartlesville, OK, and Renea Pinney and husband Mike of Bartlesville, OK; grandson Mitch Johnson and wife Kayla of Bartlesville, OK; seven great-grandchildren: Presly Pinney, Ava Pinney, Bella Johnson, Gemma Johnson, Rylee Wight, Emmy Wight, Jaxyn Wight and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
