Neva Marie Sears, 94, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died September 30, 2017.

Neva was born in Bartlesville January 31, 1923 to V.E. Fields, Sr. and Lillie (Leonard) Fields. She graduated from College High School in 1941. She married her high school sweetheart, G. O. (Jerry) Sears on May 14, 1945. She was a housewife and mother for 20 years and later worked for the Bartlesville school system until she and Jerry retired in 1983.

She is survived by a son, Patrick Sears of Tulsa, and a daughter, Janet Godbey of Bartlesville. Jerry and Neva have 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Neva was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sears and recently by her loving husband of 72 years, Jerry.

Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville with Rev. Elaine Cervini officiating, under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
