Troy Thomas Peace, 91, of Bartlesville, OK died at 12:46 A.M. on Saturday, November 3rd at the Avalon Memory Care facility in Carrollton, TX.

Born on June 28th, 1927 in Tahlequah, OK, he was the first son of the late George Thomas Peace and Dessie Arline Stacy of Jay, OK. He was a proud Army veteran who served during the  Korean War Troy was known for his kind and caring nature. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with the best of them. He built stock cars in the 60's and you could find him at the old Dewey race track with his boys every Friday night. When his boys were old enough to get into sports, he left the racing days behind in order to devote his time on their activities. From Little League to American Legion, one could always find him hours before the first pitch working diligently at preparing the field for that night's game. He had his own home improvement business and was known for his meticulous details in order to do the job right.

Troy was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Peace of Indianapolis, IN and his wife of 58 years, Cloma Peace.

Since Cloma's passing in June 2017, he has resided at Flower Mound Assisted Living in Flower Mound, TX.

He is survived by his two sons, Mike and his wife Jean Ann of Flower Mound, TX and Jerry and his wife Shelley of Oklahoma City as well as four grandchildren, Taylor, Jake, Ashley and Matt.

Troy lived a long and full life. He was a true role model for his boys and his family will miss him very much. After a small private gathering, Troy will be laid to rest with Cloma at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville.
