Maxine Grace Nowlin, 89, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Maxine was born August 1, 1931, in Bartlesville, to parents Thomas and Antionette Grace (Kaiser) O’Meara. She attended St. Johns Catholic School. She married Oscar Dee Nowlin on May 28, 1951. The couple had two daughters, Vickie and Sandra. Family was the most important thing to Maxine. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved cooking and serving Sunday dinners for them.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; mother and father; one sister and one brother.

She is survived by her daughters Vickie K. Snellgrove and Sandra Dee McClintock and husband Bennie; grandsons Dee Derryberry and wife Erica, of Bentonville, Arkansas and Ryan Snellgrove and wife Sarah, of Dewey; granddaughter Amber McClintock of Bartlesville; five great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Per Maxine’s wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
